MS Dhoni produced another brilliant stumping to dismiss Phil Salt in the fifth over of the ongoing CSK vs RCB match at Chepauk. Facing Noor Ahmad, Salt attempted to play a delivery that angled across him but failed to connect. Dhoni reacted instantly, collecting the ball and removing the bails in one motion.
The third umpire reviewed the dismissal and confirmed that Salt’s back foot was not touching the crease when Dhoni made his move. He attempted to drag it back, but the bails had already been dislodged. Salt departed after scoring a quick 32 off 16 balls, leaving RCB at 45/1.

Notably, MS Dhoni had showcased his lightning-fast reflexes with a similar stumping to dismiss Suryakumar Yadav in CSK’s previous match against MI. The dismissal came in the 11th over when Noor Ahmad deceived Yadav with a well-disguised googly. Stepping out to play the delivery, Yadav was caught stranded as Dhoni reacted instantly, removing the bails before he could recover.
