The PCB issued a legal notice to Corbin Bosch for breaching his contract after withdrawing from PSL 2025 to join Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a legal notice to South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch for allegedly violating his contract after pulling out of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025.
Bosch, initially signed by Peshawar Zalmi for the PSL season, withdrew from the tournament to join Mumbai Indians (MI) as an injury replacement for Lizaad Williams ahead of IPL 2025. The PCB has taken legal steps, citing a breach of his professional obligations.
“The legal notice was served through his agent, and the player has been asked to justify his actions of withdrawing from his professional and contractual commitments,” the PCB stated in an official release on Sunday, March 16, as quoted by Cricbuzz.

The board further stated that it had communicated the repercussions of Bosch’s decision and expected a response within a given timeframe. “The PCB will not make any further comments on the matter,” the statement concluded.
The 2025 PSL season is set to take place from April 11 to May 25, while IPL 2025 is scheduled from March 22 to May 25. Bosch, who has represented South Africa in one Test and two ODIs, was an integral part of MI Cape Town’s SA20 2025 title-winning campaign under Rashid Khan’s leadership. In eight matches, he secured 11 wickets but had limited opportunities with the bat.
