KKR’s Rinku Singh entered MI’s dressing room after their IPL 2025 match to borrow Rohit Sharma’s bat, leading to a fun exchange with Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya.
Following the IPL 2025 match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 1 at Wankhede Stadium, KKR’s Rinku Singh visited the MI dressing room to borrow a bat from Rohit Sharma.
In the video, MI all-rounder Tilak Varma humorously remarked that Rinku, despite possessing quality bats, sought one from Rohit. MI captain Hardik Pandya then playfully confronted Rinku about his request. Additionally, KKR’s Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who represents Mumbai in domestic cricket, was seen holding what appeared to be Rohit’s bat.

In other news, the Mumbai Indians secured their first IPL 2025 points with an eight-wicket win over the Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium on April 1. Debutant pacer Ashwani Kumar set up the win with a sensational 4-24, the best figures by an Indian bowler on IPL debut.
Chasing 117, Ryan Rickelton guided Mumbai home with an unbeaten 62 off 41 balls, hitting four fours and five sixes. He built partnerships of 46 with Rohit Sharma (13) and 45 with Will Jacks (16). Suryakumar Yadav finished the chase in style, smashing 27 off nine balls, including the winning six. With this eight-wicket win, MI has climbed to sixth on the points table.
