Sanjay Bangar believes Virat Kohli will deliver a strong performance and a special celebration against Delhi Capitals, calling him the ‘boss’ at his home ground.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will face Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 27 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. In their previous match in Bengaluru, KL Rahul’s unbeaten 93 off 53 balls led DC to a six-wicket win. Following the match, Rahul celebrated with the ‘Kantara’ gesture, acknowledging the ground as his home.
Ahead of the upcoming game, RCB’s head coach, Sanjay Bangar, speculated that Virat Kohli might come up with his own unique celebration, given Delhi is his home ground. RCB has an undefeated record in away matches this season, and Bangar believes Kohli, the “boss” of the stadium, will look to lead RCB to win in DC’s backyard.
“I think Virat would do a little bit differently. I think he will show that, ‘OK, that pavilion in which you’re sitting, it’s mine’. Who’s the boss? Virat is the boss there,” said Sanjay Bangar on Star Sports.
