Virat Kohli and KL Rahul got into a heated argument during RCB’s chase against Delhi Capitals in their IPL 2025 match at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
The ongoing IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Arun Jaitley Stadium featured a heated moment between Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. While chasing 163, RCB’s innings slowed early, frustrating Kohli. The tension first surfaced in the sixth over, when DC delayed proceedings and fielders shifted during a free-hit delivery. Kohli showed clear displeasure toward the umpires.
An over later, following a DRS review for an LBW appeal against Krunal Pandya, Kohli and Rahul engaged in a verbal exchange behind the stumps. Kohli initiated the face-off, and Rahul was seen responding with a shrug and brief words.

In the match, Delhi Capitals posted a total of 162/8 after being put to bat first. Rahul top-scored with 41 off 39 balls, but regular wickets fell. Tristan Stubbs’ quickfire 34 off 18 balls helped DC reach a competitive total. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/33) and Josh Hazlewood (2/36) were the top wicket-takers. Krunal Pandya (1/28) and Yash Dayal (1/42) picked up one wicket each.
In response, RCB’s chase stumbled early when Axar Patel removed Jacob Bethell and Devdutt Padikkal in the same over. At the time of writing, Kohli (51*) and Krunal Pandya (73*) are leading the charge, putting RCB in a strong position to chase down the target of 163.
